Both kids in Preschool

So last week we started Preschool for Brayden and Madison. We went with Brayden on his first day, so us as parents could see what his school days would be like. He was up Bright and early and ready to go hours before it was time to go meet his Teacher and classmates. The whole time I was there he kept asking me when I was going to leave. He didn't want me there. He couldn't wait till the next day to go all by himself. He is loving it and I am happy that he loves it so much. He askes everyday now if he goes to school the next day.

We also started Madison in Preschool. I am glad we did cause the day we dropped Brayden off for his first day all byhimself she started to cry cause she wanted to go to preschool too. She didn't have to wait to long cause she went and met her teacher with Michael and they explored her new classroom together. She was so excited and she can't wait for her first day all by herself. With both of them in school I have some free time. What to do with myself... we will see.

We love the summer time around here. I don't know who wouldn't love summer either. You could always find us at our Pool and if not there just playing outside with friends. Its been a busy summer filled with fun and lots of trips! We started the summer off by going to Bear Lake with all the cousins on the Leinweber side. We went to the Strawberry Days Rodeo and the kids keep asking when we can go again. 4th of July was a blast. We watched the parade with friends, swimming and fireworks with daddy. A summer favorite! Brayden and Madison took swim lessons and were always so excited to go and learn something new at swim lessons. Brayden went to his first cousins camp on the Weber side in StarValley. The kids and I went to Yellowstone with my side of the family. Micheal worked hard up in Midway and was able to take each of the kids on there own day to work with him. They loved going to work with there daddy. Then there was more swimming at our pool. Okay we loved our pool this summer. To end our summer Brayden had his 5th Birthday Party. It was a good summer and was filled with fun and many memories. Now it is time for school and both kids will be starting Preschool soon. They are getting so big and I am loving every movement with them.

Since February Brayden and Madison have been in Gymnastics. They love it and it has been great for them. They put on a little show to show off some off the stuff they are learning for their parents to come watch. I love seeing them grow and trying new things.

Michael's Graduation

I don't want to brag, but Michael Graduated form the University of Utah. It was so much fun to watch him get his diploma. Brayden and Madison were just as excited to see Michael graduate as he was. We are so Proud of him! Pops (Ted Skibo) came from Georgia to see Michael graduate. What a blessing it was to have him be able come out here to visit us and see Michael graduate. Surrounded by family and friends, we celebrated Michaels graduation together.

Madison's Daily Fashion Show

Everyday I tell Brayden and Madison to get dressed for the day. Brayden is dressed in a matter of seconds usually before I ask. He is always in shorts no matter what the weather is outside! Madison well gets dressed in whatever her imagination is thinking at that time. There are day's where she only wares one outfit a day, but most day's she has worn at least two outfits. Makes for more laundry than I would like, but fun to see her imagination work.

A fast update to now of 2011.

This year like every other starts out with Madisons Birthday. She turned 3 this year and we had a birthday princess party. She was very specific on what she wanted for her cake and after 4hrs of decorating it was finished and worth it cause Madison loved it. She a had fun birthday and loved sharing it with family. The days leading u to her party she had planned on wearing her Cinderella dress and having Dora on her cake.

We put Brayden and Madison in Gymnastics once a week, and boy do they love it. It is one of the only times they are ready to go and out the door in record timing.

I have to say I love my Dentist and so do the kids. Well who wouldn't when you get to watch a movie while you get your teeth cleaned. No cavities, an extra tooth and a experience the kids loved. They can't wait to go back to the dentist.

The Kids were so excited to celebrate Michaels birthday. They helped decorated his cake with plenty of sprinkles and a picture of a snowmobile on top. Then they choose to take Michael bowling. In a snowstorm off we went to dinner at Pei Wei and off to bowling. The Brayden couldn't get enough of the bowling and Madison was dancing to the music. It was a fun Birthday Celebration!

Yes here it is March and the kids and Michael are building a snowman family!!

So far this year has been filled with lots of fun and crazy moments. The kids keep me going and my training for a marathon makes fun filled days. The kids love to go running with me in our new stroller. They help keep me motivated in running my daily short runs. I finally ran 10 miles last sat. boy was that hard. Its easy to tell myself not do go running on those long runs. But talking myself into running the long runs is harder then it seems each week. But each week I run farther and farther to my goal of running a full marathon in June. So between running a full marathon, my other goal this year is to keep out family blog updated!

On a site seeing bus in NYC(p.s we got the tickets for free!!)

So a few weeks ago on a sat. afternoon we decided to jump on a plane and go to NY! Took us about 2 minutes to start calling people to see it was possible to find someone to watch the kids and dog. Thinking it impossible on such short notice, well nope Michaels mom said yes in a heart beat to watch the kids for 4 days. It took my friend Sarah the same to watch max. Once we had those details in order, I packed the bags and took the kids to Michaels Moms house, while he worked his last few hours. We took a red eye and walked around NY all day and didn't sleep until late the next night. Then the next day we were off and running, seeing all the sights and not stopping. Our finale day we packed our bags and walked around NY with them until our flight that evening. What a fast whirlwind of a vacation, but no kids and so much fun!! Next family vacation....who knows!!!

I know I am not the best at keeping this up to date, but I am going to try harder. We have had a fun summer. Since Micheal got a job at jet blue, we went to Long Beach. We were going to just go for the day, but we ended up staying three. We only had the cloths that we were waring and our swimsuits. So Michael took all our cloths and went to a laundry mat and washed them while he was waring just his swimsuit and shoes(not socks) and waited for them to be done. Mean while the kids were in their diapers and me in a sheet made up like a toga. We headed off to Disneyland the next day. Just and FYI for all those with little kids, you can rent car seats from rental car company's. We spent the day at Disneyland playing hard. We then got up at 4 to get to the airport to make it home on stand bye. It was a fun adventure and I am looking forward to many more!! To end the summer We held a birthday bash for Brayden. Turning 3 with all those we love around us. He had a transformer cake and pinata and loved every minute of it. i want to say Thank you to all of you who took time out of your busy lives to come and celebrate braydens birthday with us. Brayden loved having his family and "friends" there to celebrate!! He has been on cloud nine ever since. Once a week the kids go to a place called kinder care, where they are watched for a few hours so mommy can get some sleep, while daddy is working or at school. They love it and Brayden calls it school. It is good for all of us. So now with this summer coming to a close and Michael's school beginning we will see where the road goes, and I will be better at keeping this updated!!!!

Steamboat Springs

The kids and I went to Steamboat Springs in Colorado in July with my family. We spent a whole week just playing and hanging out with each other. Brayden and Madison loved being with Grandma and Grandpa Leinweber and all their cousins.

We went to a natural hot springs, it was tons of fun. They had many pools separated by the temps in each pool. The kids loved to play at this waterfall.

Okay so I know this isn't the right way, but I can't figure out how to change it. We rode a gondola ride up to the top and took a nature hike. Brayden got tired and wanted to ride on my shoulders .

Before we got on the Gondola ride Madison crawled in something dirty after I applied the sunscreen, so it didn't come off.

We hiked to a big waterfall, and climbed down to play next to the river. Brayden and Madison had fun throwing rocks and collecting them.

With Michael's classes coming to and end and the weather warming up we love to be outside with each other and the kids. Everyday Brayden asks to go outside and play. Madison some how knows when it is time to go out and play. She will bring you her shoes and make noises like she is asking you to put her shoes on. Micheal is teaching Madison how to say many words. Our favorite is when she will say "Love you". She will actually say it now without being prompted, it is so darn cute!! I am so excited for the warmer weather and the kids being more independent, bring on the warm weather and the pool. It doesn't take near as long to get everyone ready to go outside, compared to last year. Bring on the Freedom baby!! Not much has changed, except for our beautiful kids getting bigger everyday. Like today i went outside and Brayden wanted to go but wasn't dress yet and the next thing i knew was he had shoes on and was outside with just his diaper on. He loves to be outside. But who doesn't in this nice weather?

Moab Adventure Xstream

So this weekend my brothers and dad and i went down to the Moab Adventure Xstream Race. We started off by mountain biking for 21 miles followed by a short run to a 250 foot rappell. We then ran another 6 miles and got back on our bikes for 16 more miles of riding where we dropped our bikes and paddled 12 miles in an inflatable kayak. it was a pretty intense race and we are all a little sore but it was a blast. in our class of a 4 man team, we came in 10th place out of 15 teams and finished with a time of 8:08.

This is Brayden Michael Weber, he's our energy filled 2 1/2 year old and boy does he keep us busy. He loves reading and coloring and using his imagination. He has a reading corner in our living room where he sits in his chair and reads(most of the time out loud). He can't read yet but he can tell great stories. He is a HUGE fan of Primary at church where he has learned so many songs that he comes home and sings all day. His favorite is (screaming as he runs around the house) "THE WISE MAN BUILT HIS HOUSE UPON A ROCK"! He loves going on walks with mommy and going rock climbing with daddy. He is such a good big brother and will always give madison a hug and kiss when she gets hurt. He is such a smart boy and loves singing the ABC's and counting to 10 with a little help from mommy or daddy.

Madison Kara Weber was born on Jan. 31, 2008. Our house has never been the same

ever since. Her little attitude is growing faster than she is. She holds her own against her brother and any other person that she comes across. She loves to laugh and play with her older brother, and he is very good to her. She walks all around and loves to climb even more then Brayden. But don't get fooled by her sweet smile she can give you attitude and she fights for what she wants. She has even bit Brayden to get what she wants. She is a mommies girl at the moment, but i don't know or think that will last long, so i am cherishing it and will look back on this time when she is a daddies girl. She loves puzzles and building blocks and stories.
